Haltech Nexus S2 – Next-Generation Standalone Engine Management ECU

  • Kit includes a Plug & Play adapter for MX-5 NA – supplied with a dedicated P&P adapter and an intake air temperature (IAT) sensor, allowing quick and hassle-free installation without modifying the factory wiring and eliminating the need to purchase a complete engine harness.

    • Haltech Nexus S2 is the natural evolution of the Elite 1500 series, offering significantly increased processing power, expanded control strategies, and an integrated wideband controller. It is a modern motorsport-grade platform designed for the most demanding performance builds and competition vehicles.

    Compared to the Elite Series, the Nexus S2 delivers faster control loops and higher calculation resolution, resulting in more precise ignition control, improved transient fuel response, and more effective closed-loop strategies. The difference is especially noticeable in track and competition applications where precision and consistency are critical.

    The ECU features dual-channel knock control and multi-level protection strategies based on pressure and temperature sensors (oil, fuel, coolant, intake air). This allows staged intervention before serious engine damage can occur.

    An integrated 4 Bar MAP sensor and built-in wideband controller reduce the need for external hardware, simplifying installation and improving overall system reliability.
