Haltech Nexus S3 is a flagship standalone ECU that combines the full capability of Haltech’s top-tier systems with the immense processing power, integration and advanced data capability of the Nexus platform. It is designed for extreme performance builds and competition vehicles where maximum control precision, safety and expandability are essential.
The Nexus S3 delivers uncompromising control for high-output applications: from powerful naturally aspirated engines to large turbo and supercharger setups, as well as advanced staged injection strategies and complex ignition configurations. It is perfectly suited to forged engines, multi-injector systems and professional motorsport fuel setups.
S3 stands out with its exceptional control precision. Faster processing speeds and higher-resolution calculations result in more accurate fuel delivery, ignition control and torque management across the entire operating range. Load sensing can be configured via TPS, MAP or MAF, allowing the ECU strategy to be tailored precisely to any specific engine configuration.
Engine Safety and Protection
One of the key strengths of the Nexus S3 is its advanced safety capability. Dual-channel knock control, synchronised to engine position, provides extremely accurate knock detection even under high cylinder pressures. Multi-layer engine protection strategies can utilise sensors such as oil pressure, fuel pressure, coolant temperature and intake air temperature, enabling progressive intervention rather than harsh cut strategies.
An integrated wideband controller and built-in 4 Bar MAP sensor simplify the overall system, reduce external hardware requirements and improve reliability.
Motorsport Features
The motorsport feature set is comprehensive and deeply integrated: launch control, traction control, flat shift, rotational idle and advanced anti-lag strategies ensure consistent power delivery in competitive environments.
